How To Restore Lost UCS Icon In AutoCAD 2017 ……
1. Go to View ⇒ Display ⇒ UCS Icon ⇒ On as shown in pic-1.
Users may also set UCS icon at Origin by going the same way. Ucs icon will place left side at the bottom of the screen when Users click on Origin. Ucs icon will not move with objects in case. Somehow UCS icon disappears in AutoCAD. UCS icon also indicates the direction of the line. In which direction line is going. For example, in model space users can see, there is two direction are showing in UCS icon. One of X & other is Y.

2. Type UCSICON in the command line & press Enter.
3. Users may on/off UCS icon or set UCS icon at the Origin as well by typing in the command line Origin as shown in pic-2.
