How To Turn Off Lasso / Odd Selection Window In AutoCAD 2017…..
In AutoCAD 2017 one of the features is lasso / odd selection window. This work when no command is active. You will see selection window looks odd in below pic-1. This comes when you click on screen & drag your mouse button without giving any commands. There are 2 ways to turn off this lasso / odd selection window.
Method – 1
Tricks To Turn Off Lasso / odd Window
Type PICKAUTO in the command line. You will see default value set on <5>. You need to change the default value from <5> to <3> for turn off lasso / odd selection window in AutoCAD 2017.
- Type PICKAUTO in the command line.
- Type 3 to change the default value from 5 to 3.

- Type OP in the command line for Options dialog box. Options dialog box window will appear.
- Go to Selection tab & untick the Allow press and drag for Lasso under Selection modes as shown in pic-2.
