Ordinate Dimension Uses In AutoCAD ……
Ordinate Dimension use to give & check horizontal & vertical dimension from the origin point. Before to give Ordinate dimension, first you have to set origin point (0,0,0) at where from you want to check or want to give dimension horizontally or vertically.
1. Type UCS in the command line & press enter.
2. Then type N & set the origin point 0,0,0 as shown in below pic-1.

3. Click on Ordinate dimension as shown in pic-2 which is in dimension toolbar & then start giving dimension as shown in below pic-1.
