Selection window doesn’t display while selecting multiple objects In AutoCAD 2104, 2015, 2016 & 2017…..
Sometimes users face problem to select multiple objects by crossing window. Selection window doesn’t display while selecting multiple objects. For example, users want to erase or move multiple objects but selection window doesn’t behave like as shown in pic-1. Because of variable value has changed any reason. Users need to check PICKAUTO variable value. If PICKAUTO variable value set on <0>, only one object can be select by selection window.
2 way to turn on selection window in AutoCAD.

1. To turn on Crossing window, PICKAUTO variable value set on <1> as shown in pic-2.

2. Type OP or Right Click in the command line, select Options. Options dialog box will appear. Go to Selection tab & tick mark in Implied Windowing.
