Many times users need to give continue or chain dimension in AutoCAD. This dimension follow liner dimension. Users need to create one liner dimension for chain dimension.
1. Type Dimcontinue in the command line and press enter or users can pick continue dimension from dimension toolbar as shown in pic-1.
Note:- before to use continue or chain dimension users need to create at least one liner dimension.

2. Select continued dimension as shown in pic-2.

3. Users need to select existing given linear dimension & then select the desired point to give the continue or chain dimension as shown in pic-3.
