Delete Quickly All Lines, Outside The Object In AutoCAD 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017
Normally users use the trim command to delete outside or inside lines of the objects. User trimmed lines one by one. Which takes time. If you want to trim one line outside of the object with trim command, then Ok. If you have lots of lines outside or inside of the object as shown in pic-1 & want to delete/trim. Users can use EXTRIM command to delete all lines at the same time. Users Don’t need to delete/trim all line on by one.

1. Type EXTRIM in the command line.
2. Select the Object & specify the cursor direction.
For example, if you want to delete/trim lines inside the object, keep cursor inside the object or if you want to delete lines outside the object, keep your cursor outside the object. In below pic-2, the cursor was outside the object as result all lines are deleted outside the object.
