How To Control The Drawing Zooming Behavior In AutoCAD 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017
When we give Zoom Extend or Zoom Window command in AutoCAD, drawing doesn’t come on screen smoothly. It takes the little time to come up on screen. Many users don’t like this zooming behavior in AutoCAD. You may turn off this zooming behavior by changing the variable value of VTENABLE.
1. Type VTENABLE in the command line.
2. Change the default value into <0>.
Users will see default value set on <3>. To turn off zooming behavior, Users need to set the default value on <0> as shown in pic-1. After set default value on <0>. As you will give Zoom Extend or Zoom Window command, you will see drawing coming on screen quickly like an old version of AutoCAD.
