Enable & Disable Dynamic Input In AutoCAD 2014, 2015, 2016 , 2017, 2018 & 2019

There is 3 ways to turn off & turn on dynamic input in AutoCAD. A dynamic feature is added in the latest version of AutoCAD. Which is normally use with line command. You may give line at any angle by using this dynamic feature. This always comes near at crosshair as shown in pic-1. Users may turn on & turn off this feature by going in Drafting settings or by changing the variable value of DYNMODE.

How to get / set dynamic input in AutoCAD

1. Type OS in the command line. A drafting settings dialog box will appear. Go to Dynamic Input tab. You will see all options are ticked as shown in pic-2. You need to untick all the options to turn off Dynamic input.

How to show dynamic input in AutoCAD

2. Type DYNMODE in the command line. You will see default value set on <3> as shown in pic-3. You have to set the default value at <0> to disable the dynamic input.
