How To Create Liner Dimension In AutoCAD
Users always need to show parameters in the drawings for execution of that object. The parameters could be horizontal, vertically and etc. There is dimension toolbar in AutoCAD. Users use the dimension toolbar to give the dimension of the objects. There are approximately twenty commands in dimensions toolbar. One of them is Liner command. Which is used to give dimensions horizontally and vertically in the drawing.
How to work with Liner dimension in AutoCAD.
1. Type DLI in the command line and press enter or take liner command from dimension toolbar as shown in pic-1.

2. Select the first point of the object as shown in pic-2.

3. Select the second point of the object as shown in pic-3.

4. Take the cursor upside and click on the screen as shown in pic-4.
