How To Turn on / off Status Bar In AutoCAD 2016, 2017…..
The status bar helps us to access most of the commonly used toolbars below of command line. You can turn on/off settings such as the snap, grid, polar tracking, and object snap. You can also do additional settings for some of these tools by clicking their drop down. The status bar helps us to work faster in AutoCAD by selecting these tools.
1. Type STATUSBAR in the command line. Default value set on <o> If status bar turns off. For turn on the status bar, set the default value on <1> as shown in pic-1.

2. Users can add additional button on status bar by selecting from the drop down list as shown in pic-2.
